WELDING TECHNICIAN

Our Lyon-based establishment specializes in the design, manufacture and sale of high performance nuclear and cryogenic valves. (270 people, 70 M € turnover). We equip all of the 58 French nuclear reactors and are present in more than 350 nuclear reactors around the world. As part of our activity, we are looking for a Welding Technologist (M / F).

Reporting to the Welding Methods Manager, you manage welding activities.

In this context, your missions are as follows:

- Drafting, verification and monitoring of PCAQ by applying codes and standards;

- Welding coordination: monthly activity report, dashboards;

- Operational assistance for welders and monitoring of their qualifications;

- Participation in the continuous improvement process;

- Support for production, methods, R&D and business;

- Supply management of welding products and their conformity;

- Improvement of non-quality, welding processes and documentation;

- Development of processes and procedures and watch over the regulation of standards.

With a higher education in Mechanics / Metallurgy supplemented by an IWT diploma, you have 5 years of experience in a nuclear or industrial environment. You master welding processes as well as construction codes and standards. You have knowledge of manufacturing processes. Proficiency in IT tools is also required (Office Pack, modules and IT systems). In addition, a level of technical English is essential.

Quickly autonomous, you are conscientious and rigorous. You are a person who is available, involved, who knows how to work in a team and transmit his know-how. You have analytical and synthesis skills, and you are proactive.

The position is to be filled on a permanent basis. One-off trips to France and abroad are to be expected.
