The nuclear safety engineer participates in the definition and evaluation of all the provisions to guarantee the safety of installations and prevent incidents. His/her mission is to protect man and the environment from the dispersion of radioactive materials.
Initially, you work as part of a long-term safety support project for the La Hague plant. In collaboration with technical (mechanical, thermal, process, etc.) and safety / safety calculations teams of the La Hague's operator, with the support of our technical referents and under the supervision and guidance of our manager, you will mainly work on studies and monitoring related to the safety of the La Hague plant (monitoring indicators and requirements, annual safety review, responses to ASN requests, incident reports, safety analyzes / demonstrations, etc). This work concerns all the risks that may be present :
In the medium term, the scope of the post may be extended to include other types of safety studies: fire risk, explosion, transport of radioactive materials, etc.
