CEVIDRA Laboratory manufactures the world’s only patented medical device that instantly neutralises skin penetration from many radionuclides - uranium, plutonium, americium, thorium, strontium, cesium, cobalt, silver, zirconium, manganese, antimony - therefore limiting both internal contamination and the need for extensive treatment. This medical device comes in the form of a dermatological emulsion containing calixarene to treat external contamination while reducing the radioactive effluent, and thus preventing cross contamination. Cevidra® cream is available since 2018 and has confirmed its efficacy on real contaminations in nuclear facilities, it has also received an award in "Nuclear Safety" category in the WNE 2018.
