Presentation

ATRON was born from a strong ambition from CERAP, subsidiary of the ENGIE group, to strengthen its positioning in the field of the nuclear instrumentation.
In partnership with laboratories of the CNRS and the CEA, ATRON has developed an innovative method to calibrate radiation survey meters using braking rays of accelerated electrons as source.
In addition to this activity, the accelerator of electrons of ATRON allows us to answer numerous problems of qualification and modification of materials under irradiation. Among them, the accelerated ageing of organic, mineral or metallic materials, the qualification of electronic components or embarked systems used in hostile circles - for aerospace applications or with nuclear installations for example-, the modification of the properties of certain plastics subjected to the irradiation, the development of systems of detection or ways of measure of ionizing radiations, etc.
ATRON assures the metrological reliability, reduces the environmental impact and participates in the emergence of new solutions for its customers, by the research and the innovation.
ATRON joins in a sustainable development process by bringing to a successful conclusion studies for a better performance of materials, more reliable installations, lesser consumption of raw materials.
